The purpose of the website is to pen and catalogue my fleeting thoughts and to serve as a platform for commentary. The website would serve its purpose if it can inspire at least one other individual to reflect more deeply on his assumptions and beliefs. Conversely, this website will hopefully invite criticisms and alternative viewpoints that can open my eyes to new perspectives and nuances. I am passionate about making positive social changes. I have done social work but there is always improvements that can be made, and the work of one person, significant as it may be, can always be better magnified by aid of others. Hence, it is my objective to use this website to inspire social awareness and social work or civic action in response. There is a vulnerability associated with opening up so deliberately on such a global platform - the Internet. Yet, there is no greater efficient way to potentially get to know other people from all over the world. The opportunity to make new friends and learn is boundless.
